Hospitalization and HIPPA – HIPAA regulations enacted by Congress don’t permit hospitals to tell churches when members are in the hospital. If you or someone you know who goes to First Baptist Ashland is admitted to a hospital, let the church know so we can visit. Please give us the patient’s full legal name. Unless you inform us otherwise, we will also share your information with other members so we can pray for your recovery. Thank you for informing us and for praying for our hospitalized members.
2015 Budget Information - When we began the 2015 budget process there were a number of key positions unfilled. As a result we decided to approach the formulation of the 2015 budget differently. A lot of work has been done behind the scenes by our Budgeting Team. What is attached is still a work in progress and we would like your comments/suggestions. Please plan to attend one of two scheduled town hall work sessions for the 2015 budget:
Sunday, October 5th at 6:00 PM
Wednesday, October 8th at 7:15 PM
Both will meet in Ellis Hall.
A copy of the "work-in-progress" budget will be distributed during both services this coming Sunday, and will be available for pick up in the office.
No Flu Clinic this Season - It is time to get your Flu Vaccine. FBC will NOT have a clinic this year. There are many locations around town where the Flu Shots are now available. It is very important to get your vaccine ASAP, because it takes 2 weeks to get into your system!
